jQuery Easing is a script that can be used for “smoother” local scrolling animations such as the one in this demo (click any menu item) and for controlling local scrolling speed.
By default (since Total 5.6.0) the theme uses native browser local scrolling affects via the javascript scrollTo function (smooth behavior), however, if you want a little more control over the local scroll speed you can enable the jQuery Easing script via the Customizer under Appearance > Customize > General Theme Options > jQuery Easing.
Enabling this function does require the loading of extra javascript files on the site though, so if your primary focus is site speed/optimization it’s recommended to keep the setting disabled.
