Disable Gutenberg Editor

While the Total theme does provide support for the Gutenberg editor, it is still a very “incomplete” feature in WordPress and most customers prefer to use the classic editor as well as the bundled “WPBakery” plugin for creating awesome pages. Because of this Total has an exclusive function that removes useless Gutenberg functions and front-end scripts when not in use. Below are the 2 methods you can use to disable the Gutenberg editor:

Disable via WPBakery

The quickest way to disable the WordPress Gutenberg editor is via the built-in WPBakery setting:

Disable via the Classic Editor Plugin

The second and most popular way of disabling Gutenberg is to use the Classic Editor plugin. Simply log into WordPress and go to Plugins > Add New, search for the Classic Editor plugin, install and activate it.
